Accessibility Statement
Naloku LLC's accessibility commitment for the website at https://naloku.com and the Kōkua Ōmni mobile apps.
1. Plain-language summary
Naloku LLC wants its website and its Kōkua Ōmni mobile apps to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who navigate by keyboard, who use screen readers, who prefer larger text or a dyslexia-friendly font, or who need reduced motion. We aim for the recognized standard for accessible design, we have built the website with that standard in mind, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a finished checklist. If something on the website or in the apps gets in your way, we want to hear about it. The detail follows.
2. Conformance target
Naloku LLC targets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, Level AA across both the website at naloku.com and the Kōkua mobile apps. WCAG 2.2 AA is the standard most widely referenced by accessibility laws and best practice.
This is a commitment we are actively working toward, not a guarantee that every page and every screen fully conforms today. We test as we build, we fix the barriers we find, and we treat any reported gap as something to remediate. Where a part of the website or the apps does not yet meet the target, that does not change the target — it tells us where the next work is.
3. What we have done on this website
The accessibility features below are already in place on naloku.com, and you can use them now:
- (a) Keyboard navigation. Every interactive element can be reached and operated with the keyboard alone, and a "Skip to content" link lets you bypass the header and jump straight to the main content;
- (b) Dyslexia-friendly default font. The website's default typeface is Atkinson Hyperlegible, chosen for its character distinctiveness and readability;
- (c) Opt-in OpenDyslexic font. The "Accessibility" panel in the footer lets you switch to the OpenDyslexic typeface if it works better for you;
- (d) Configurable text size. The same panel offers Default, Larger, and Largest text-size options, saved to your device;
- (e) Dark-mode aware. The website respects your operating system's light or dark appearance setting;
- (f) Reduced-motion respect. If your device is set to reduce motion, the website honors that preference and limits animation;
- (g) Semantic structure. Pages use proper headings, landmarks, and labels so that assistive technologies can present the content in a meaningful order.
The accessibility preferences you select are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to Naloku LLC or to any third party. How those preferences are handled is described in the Naloku Website Privacy Policy.
4. The Kōkua mobile apps
The Kōkua Ōmni mobile applications for iOS and Android are pre-release, and accessibility work on them is in progress. We are building toward the same WCAG 2.2 Level AA target described in Section 2, adapted to the mobile-platform accessibility guidance for each operating system — including support for the platform's screen reader, dynamic text sizing, sufficient contrast, and reduced-motion settings.
Because the apps are still in development, some features may not yet be fully accessible. We will continue this statement's coverage of the apps as they reach release, and we welcome feedback from anyone testing them.
5. Known limitations and ongoing work
We want to be honest about where we are rather than claim more than we can stand behind:
- (a) some areas of the website may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and we are working to identify and remediate those areas;
- (b) the Kōkua mobile apps are pre-release, and their accessibility work is in progress as described in Section 4;
- (c) accessibility is treated as continuous: as we add or change content, we review it against our conformance target, and we prioritize fixing barriers that are reported to us.
If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please tell us — see Section 6. A reported barrier is the fastest way for us to find and fix something we missed.
6. Feedback and how to report a barrier
If any part of the website or the Kōkua apps is difficult to use, or if an accessibility feature is not working as you expect, please email us at support@naloku.com. It helps if you can tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do, the assistive technology or device you were using, and what went wrong — but any report is welcome, even a brief one.
Naloku LLC is committed to responding to accessibility feedback. We will acknowledge your message, look into the issue, and let you know what we find and what we intend to do about it.
7. Changes to this Statement
Naloku LLC may update this Statement from time to time as the website and the apps evolve and as accessibility work progresses. Changes will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
